Who is responsible for your data
UNISPORTS, Edifício Neopark, Av. Tomás Ribeiro, n.º 43, Bloco 2 - 2G, 2790-463 Carnaxide, Portugal.
For any privacy question: Info@unisports.pt or +351 210 938 241.
What data we collect
- Contact form: first and last name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), event type, expected date, number of guests and your message.
- Form security: an irreversible fingerprint (hash) of your IP address, used only to stop abusive submissions. The IP itself is not stored.
- Browsing: the site uses no analytics, advertising or social media tools. The hosting server logs technical data (IP, date, page) for security.
- External content: it only loads if you accept it; in that case its provider receives technical connection data, such as your IP address.
Why we use it and on what basis
- To answer your request and prepare a proposal: your consent given in the form, and pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
- To protect the site and form from spam and abuse: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- To show external content such as maps: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- We do not use your data for marketing and never sell it.
How long we keep it
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless it leads to a contract, in which case legal retention periods apply.
- IP hash: kept with the message and deleted with it.
- Preferences stored in your browser: until you clear them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand over your data. We only use technical service providers that process it on our behalf, under our instructions and with contracts that protect it, as required by the GDPR.
If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so only with the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was already done. Just write to Info@unisports.pt; we reply within one month.
If you believe your data was mishandled, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.
How we protect it
- Always-encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Messages can only be read by the team signed in to the admin panel; visitors can send messages but never read them.
- Server-side validation and rate limits, normalised input and protection against automated submissions.
